SAFETY NOTES

This recipe contains dairy. Note it when serving guests with allergies.
Honey should not be served to infants under one year of age.
Butter held at room temperature for serving is fine for a brunch window, but return it to refrigeration after two hours on the buffet.
Refrigerated, the butter keeps 2 weeks. Pull it out an hour before serving rather than leaving it out overnight.
Use clean utensils on the buffet crock, and replace rather than top up a crock that guests have been serving themselves from.
